We invite you to take part in the 8th WONNOW Awards, a joint initiative between CaixaBank and Microsoft Ibérica. We are looking for the best science, technology, engineering and mathematics degree students to promote equality and reward the academic, professional, personal and social excellence of women in the STEM field.

The goal of the WONNOW Awards is to promote the future of leading women in STEM and is composed of the following categories:
Paid interships at CaixaBank
15 professional opportunities to work for at CaixaBank for 6 months.
Cash prize
A prize of €10,000 to the student with the best academic record and professional, personal and social achievements.
Exclusive mentoring with Microsoft
A mentoring programme with Microsoft to boost your professional development.

The WONNOW Awards are far more than mere awards, they are a transforming initiative that serve to remind us that women, inspired by our predecessors, must continue to pave the way in the STEM world with the responsibility and pride of being the leaders for those who will follow. Personally, I am thrilled to be able to do my bit within this amazing project and I am grateful for everything that I am learning from this experience.
I’m enormously grateful to the WONNOW Awards for giving visibility to and encouraging female talent in this sector. [...] I intend to use the prize as the initial investment to help me set up my own company in the technology sector. To do that, I have now decided to get international experience while I work on data analysis in the context of sustainability.
Initiatives like this will enable the creation of female role models who will be able to influence, encourage and serve as an example for future young STEM individuals, showing them what’s possible and that they can go far if they want to. The awards have helped me learn how to work in an interdisciplinary environment and have convinced me that artificial intelligence is a field that excites me. The requirements to take part in the 8th edition are as indicated in the legal terms and conditions: female individuals, of legal age and with their tax residence in Spain, who have officially passed the first 180 credits of a STEM degree studied at a Spanish university, and that are still enrolled and studying a degree, master’s, post-graduate or doctorate course as a continuation of their studies. The degree they are studying must be approved by the Spanish National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) and must be included on the list of STEM degrees in Annex I of the terms and conditions. The winners will be publicly announced through the posting of a press release by CaixaBank and Microsoft Ibérica on their corporate social media, etc. The winning entrants will be told in advance about their award, with sufficient notice so that they can prepare to join CaixaBank and/or receive the cash prize.
If you have taken part in previous editions, but were not a winner, we encourage you to enter again and choose to enter for one or both prizes. You can log in here. If you don’t remember your password, don’t worry, you can recover it and review the information and documentation you submitted previously and then send your entry for the 8th edition of the WONNOW Awards.
While the registration period is open you can make as many changes as you consider necessary. You can even complete part of the form and continue later, provided you’re within the registration period. To do this, all you need to do is log in here, edit what you want and save the change at the bottom of the page. You can do this as often as you like during the registration period.
