Carlota Armillas, a dual degree student of Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design and Product Development at the University of Cádiz, received the prize of 10,000 euros. In addition, other students have access to paid internships to work at CaixaBank and will benefit from a Microsoft mentoring programme:

  • Marta García Pérez, studying for a degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Cádiz.
  • Carmen Torres Montijano, studying for a degree in Telecommunications Technology Engineering at the University of Jaén.
  • Ana Sancho Callealta, studying for a degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Cádiz.
  • Amaia de Pablo Ruíz, studying for a degree in Computer Engineering in Management and Informations Systems at the University of the Basque Country.
  • Helena Yelmo, studying for a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Electronic Engineering at the Salesiana University School in Sarrià.
  • Marina Alonso, studying for a degree in Service Engineering and Telecommunications Technology at the Technical University of Madrid.
  • Patricia Andolz Santacana, studying for a degree in Computer Engineering at the Open University of Catalonia.
  • Sara Ruíz Daza, studying for a degree in Physics and Mathematics at the University of Cantabria.
  • Naomi Noor, studying for a degree in Industrial Engineering and Product Development at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
  • Paula Calderón, studying for a degree in Biotechnology at Valencia Catholic University Saint Vincent Martyr.

 

In summary, in this first edition of the WONNOW Awards, four students from Andalusia, two from Catalonia, one from the Basque Country, one from Cantabria, one from the Canary Islands, one from the Valencian Community and one from Madrid have received awards from a total of 260 students from the 59 Spanish universities that participated.
